個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)介凱特·福莫特的藝術(shù)學(xué)習(xí)生涯始于費(fèi)城莫爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院，上高中的同時(shí)在周末學(xué)習(xí)藝術(shù)（1982-1982）。她在雪城大學(xué)（也稱錫拉丘茲大學(xué)/SyracuseUniversity）視覺(jué)和行為藝術(shù)學(xué)院學(xué)習(xí)，并受邀于1994年開(kāi)始在那里任教，于1997年獲得了藝術(shù)碩士學(xué)位。2004年，她在波士頓藝術(shù)博物館學(xué)院跟隨EvelinaBrozgu學(xué)習(xí)。2005年到2006年，她跟隨RichanrdRyan在波士頓大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)。她的項(xiàng)目50Paintingsin50Days在紐約得到認(rèn)同之后，她開(kāi)始參與集體藝術(shù)展,得到了紐約時(shí)報(bào)和紐約新聞日?qǐng)?bào)的關(guān)注。2010年，她在西雅圖古柯當(dāng)代藝術(shù)中心（CoCA）舉辦了首次的個(gè)展，受到了西雅圖時(shí)報(bào)的評(píng)論。她的畫(huà)作ShotgunAccident取得了2010年厄瓜多爾雙年展的第三名。從厄瓜多爾報(bào)紙ElTelégrafo來(lái)看，這個(gè)決定近期也經(jīng)歷了很多爭(zhēng)議，很多都表明福莫特應(yīng)為
